Live Disabled's Story
The Beginning
Inspired by her struggles and isolation with endometriosis and epilepsy, Rachael founded Live Disabled in 2020. What started as individual financial, life, and job coaching soon evolved as Rachael realized many of the problems people faced were the same ones she had experienced.
Establishing the Foundation
With a clear vision in place, Rachael began to connect with individuals, families, and community organizations to understand their needs and challenges. This collaborative approach shaped the development of programs and services designed to create a meaningful impact, ensuring that Live Disabled would truly serve its mission of empowerment and accessibility.
Today
Now, Live Disabled has transitioned to a fully online model. We have partnered with organizations to create an evolving platform that best serves disabled adults and their caregivers. It is our hope to come closer to our vision of equality through the work we do today. We would love your help! :)

Our Founder
Rachael E Stout • Founder/President
Rachael first became disabled at 16.
The next decade was a mess of depression, confusion, and isolation. After getting on disability at 26, Rachael became determined to live a better life. It took her another decade of school, optimizing her healthcare, and pure determination to realize that depression, confusion, and isolation were a side story to her disability. While her disability was here to stay, she could be disabled and have abundant joy.
Now, Rachael founded Live Disabled to help others find that joy; she consults with organizations to create REAL Disability Inclusion; and she lives every day to the fullest with her furry family. :)
